ATLANTA– Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the appointment of Stephanie D. Woodard as the solicitor-general for Hall County. This position was created by the appointment of Larry A. Baldwin II as State Court Judge of Hall County.
A brief biography is provided below:
Stephanie D. Woodard, Gainesville, GA – Woodard has served in private practice in Hall County since 2000. Prior to this position Woodard worked in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office as Senior Assistant District Attorney. Woodard also served in the Carroll County District Attorney’s Office and the DeKalb County Solicitor General’s Office. She is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Friends of Recovery. Woodard earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Georgia State University and a juris doctor from Georgia State University Law School.
