ATLANTA – Governor Sonny Perdue announced today the following executive appointments.
State Children’s Trust Fund Commission
Mark J. Lane, 39, Albany, Second Congressional District Representative- Lane is the president and chief executive officer of Security Bank and Trust Company. He served as president and chief executive officer of Quincy State Bank. He is a member of the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Dougherty Rotary Club. He is a trustee of Albany Technical College Foundation, Darton College Foundation and Deerfield-Windsor School. Lane earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. He and his wife, Donna, have three children.
Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission
Christopher L. Harris, 27, Atlanta- Harris is a real estate investor, developer, and home builder. Mr. Harris is the president and owner of Sentinel Properties, Inc. which is focused on investing and developing improved and unimproved real estate throughout the southeastern United States.

Homer “Buddy” M. DeLoach, 60, Townsend- DeLoach is chairman and chief financial officer of Martin Insurance Agency, Inc. He served as Mayor of Hinesville before being elected to the Georgia House of Representatives, serving five terms. DeLoach earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Linda, have one grown child.
