Governor Perdue Accepts Resignation of Department of Juvenile Justice Commissioner Orlando Martinez

Atlanta - Governor Sonny Perdue today accepted the resignation of Orlando Martinez, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. Deputy Commissioner Gregory Maxey will serve as Acting Commissioner until a permanent replacement is selected.

"I want to thank Commissioner Martinez for his service to the Department of Juvenile Justice and the state of Georgia," said Governor Sonny Perdue.
